Two minor girls who went missing from school on Thursday were traced in Secunderabad railway station.

According to the Bhavanipuram police, the class VIII students of a school in Bhavanipuram went to school in the morning. However, the duo did not return home after school.

Parents who went to school in the evening found their bags in the classroom. Parents later approached police and lodged a complaint. Following the complaint by one of the girl’s mothers, police took up the investigation and found that they left for Secunderabad. One of the girls called up their brother in the city on their way to Secunderabad on the train.

A team of city police was sent to Secunderabad and local police have been contacted, police said.
