Kerala-based jewellery firm Chemmanur today said it will add 56 retail stores in India and overseas by 2020 as part of expansion plan.
The company currently has 44 stores in India and abroad, and targets to reach 100 retail stores by 2020, a company official told reporters here.
Chemmanur International Jewellers Group has launched its new diamond jewellery collection 'AMRA' in the national capital. It is also holding an exhibition here from March 16-24 which was inaugurated today by BJP MP and actress Kirron Kher.
The company has recently signed football player Diego Maradona as brand ambassador.
On expansion plan, the official said that based on the customers response from this exhibition, the company will decide on expansion in north India.
He, however, did not provide details of investment to be made on this expansion.
Kher said she has been promoting Indian jewellery as well as artisans.
