A Wichita Falls woman is accused of throwing a knife at a police officer, narrowly missing his head.
Kimberly Dawn Barclay, 27, is charged with aggravated assault on a public servant – a first-degree felony. She remains behind bars in the Wichita County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
According to a probable cause affidavit:
Wichita Falls police were dispatched to a disturbance involving Barclay at apartments in the 1800 block of 10th Street on March 14.
When officers arrived, they spoke with Barclay's boyfriend, who said they got home around 2:30 a.m. Since then, the boyfriend said Barclay has been tearing up the apartment and yelling.

Officers could hear Barclay yelling from inside her bedroom, which the boyfriend said she had locked herself inside and would not come out.
As an officer approached the room to talk to her, Barclay opened the door and stormed out holding a knife. He saw Barclay slash at her arm with the knife as she walked past him and out the front door.
The officer followed Barclay outside and told her to stop and put the knife down. At that point, Barclay turned around to face the officer and took a stance as if to throw the knife at him.
The officer again ordered her to stop, but Barclay threw the knife at him. It reportedly hit the side of the door jamb right by his head.
He then pulled out his taser and used it on Barclay. Once he was able to get control of her, the officer placed Barclay under arrest.
