The Troy Police Department invites everyone to join a discussion about human trafficking at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 20,
Here’s what you need to know:
• The event will be held at the Troy Police Department, 500 W. Big Beaver Road.
• The focus of the event will be learning about the problem and what citizens can do to help.
• There will be a presentation by the Michigan Abolitionist Project, a group that works to prevent and end modern slavery.
• The event will feature a showing of the short movie “Chosen.”
• Members of the Troy Police Department will be on hand to provide the local perspective.
• No registration is necessary.
