Tripura CM holds 'Janatar Darbar' to solve people's problems

Tripura's new Minister on Friday held his "Janatar Darbar" in a bid to resolve people's problems on the spot or without much delay as practically possible, an said.

"Accompanied by all senior officials, including Secretary Sanjeev Ranjan, the Minister on Friday met more than 100 people of all ages and tried to solve their maximum problems," the said.

He said the people, including women, apprised of their problems regarding jobs, admissions in various institutions, skill development works, and other issues.

The Minister will now talk directly to the common people on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays to solve their problems.

"During the interaction with the common people, the Secretary, Secretaries and senior officials of different departments will remain present for quick resolution of the problems," the added.

After Friday's Janatar Darbar, the Minister told the media that such meetings are not new and neither is he doing anything extraordinary. "It was there also under Narendra Modi's in Already, the Ministers of other states are following it."

"But in Tripura, is being held for the first time and my government is accountable to the people," said adding that from now on the will pay attention the people's problems on priority and resolve their issues.

The is a means of direct communication of the public with the Minister, he added.
