A 62-year-old woman was found dead in an abandoned pool near Panangad on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Ravikala of Cheppanam.
Ravikala had gone missing in the morning, and the body was spotted in the pool during a search operation. According to the police, the body was found lying face down in the water. Preliminary probe ruled out any foul play. A case of unnatural death has been registered.
