Betty R. Johnson, age 78, of Fort Payne, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Crossville Health and Rehab. Mrs. Johnson was born June 30, 1939 to the late Leslie and Flora Burt Hunt. She worked at Prewitt Mills and was a member of Minvale Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Keefe officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10:00am until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donation to the Minvale Baptist Church Life Center, 205 19th Street NW, Fort Payne, AL 35967.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her sons, Freddy Johnson and wife Beckie, and James Boyd Johnson; Grandchildren, Teresa Chamblee and Neil Johnson and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Amanda Andreatta and husband Jon, Allie Henderson, Penelope Chamblee, and Noah Johnson; great-great-grandchildren, Mason Andreatta, Jace Andreatta and Kalliope Bell; and sister, Willene Berry.
