Telugu Desam Party Chief Chandra Babu Naidu has decided to pull out from the National Democratic Alliance.
He conveyed this decision to party's Polit-bureau, which is the highest decision making of the party, through video conferencing Friday morning.
The decision came in the wake of pressure being mounted on Central Government seeking a special status to Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. Naidu has asked his party members in parliament to give a notice of No-Confidence motion to the Lok Sabha Speaker.
