International package of illegal Ecstasy pills tracked to Lehigh Acres home, two arrested

A  package containing more than 600 illegal Ecstasy pills was tracked to a Lehigh Acres home Thursday and lead to the arrest of two residents and the discovery of more illegal drugs, counterfeit money and weapons. 

Members of the Lee County Sheriff's Office highway interdiction unit assisted by Homeland Security Investigations agents and the US Postal Inspectors Office, conducted a controlled delivery at 2 p.m. Thursday of an international parcel containing 620 pills of Ecstasy, to 4504 Leonard Blvd. S.

A search warrant was executed after the package was opened at 4 p.m. and two suspects, Craig Coe, 33, and Jasmine Meyer, 27, both listed as residents of the address, were found within feet of the opened parcel. 

A search found 417 oxycodone pills, 15 grams of methadone, nine grams of cocaine, 90 grams of marijuana, a 9mm pistol, a highpoint rifle, counterfeit currency and $2,363 in U.S. currency.

Coe,  on probation for felony battery and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. was charged with trafficking MDMA over 10 grams, smuggle MDMA into state, possession of weapon or ammo by convicted felon (2 counts), use/display/etc firearm during felony, possess marijuana with intent to sell, possessing with intent methadone, possess cocaine with intent to sell, traffic oxycodone over 25 grams, possess drug equipment and violation of probation.

Jasmine Meyer was charged with: possessing marijuana with intent to sell, possess with intent methadone, possess cocaine with intent to sell, traffic oxycodone over 25 grams, possessing drug equipment and violation of probation.

Both remain in Lee County Jail, Coe on no bond and Meyer on $46,500 bond. Both have arraignments on April 16.
