CHIKKABALLAPUR: Eight passengers sustained injuries in a collision between a KSRTC and a private bus on Gauribidanur road on Friday.

The private bus was heading to Tirupati from Gauribidanur, while the KSRTC bus was moving to Kolar from Chikkaballapur when the accident occurred, said the police.

The private bus driver drove in a negligent manner and failed to negotiate a curve and hit against the KSRTC bus.

Three passengers in KSRTC bus and five passengers in the private bus were among the injured. The injured have been shifted to the district hospital.
