EastEnders spoilers: Keegan Baker BETRAYED by Mitch in cruel Patrick Trueman twist
EASTENDERS’ troubled teen Keegan Baker looked to be warming up to his father after his shock return to Walford earlier this week, however, the newcomer may have just blown his chance in a shocking turn of events.
It has been made clear Mitch Baker (played by Roger Griffiths) had already caused the family a lot of pain by running out on them before in the past, and it appears he may have done it again on tonight’s instalment of BBC's EastEnders.
Although he was once a father figure to all of Karen’s (Lorraine Stanley) children, Keegan (Zack Morris) is his only biological offspring.
The scenes unfolded as Mitch offered to walk the family dog, Bronson, after receiving a mysterious text from somebody questioning his whereabouts.
However, when Mitch walked downstairs, the canine was playing with an envelope, which he opened to discover a large amount of money.

The cash was put through the letterbox earlier in the soap by Patrick Truman for Ted Murray (Christopher Timothy), who lives in the flat below.
Patrick had won the money in a surprise betting success and decided to give it to his friend so he could go to Australia with his wife, Joyce (Maggie Steed).
However, Mitch immediately made off with the cash, leaving the family once again.
When Karen looked down from the window to see that his van was gone, tensions exploded in the flat.
Keegan squared up to Keanu and blamed him for Mitch’s leaving due to his hostile behaviour.

But is Mitch really gone for good?
The news comes as just yesterday Mitch and Karen revealed the dark truth about Keanu’s father.
It transpires that unbeknown to him, his father is actually serving a life sentence in prison for attempting to stab Karen to death.
Keegan overheard the conversation, but did not reveal the secret to his brother.
The actor who plays Keegan, Zack Morris, has also hinted that the family could torn apart by the news.

The 19-year-old told Digital Spy: “There would be questions asked about why Keanu was never told. Karen's argument would obviously be that she didn't want to upset him.
"I think if everyone else does find out the truth, it'll be taken quite badly. Each of the family members have got different personalities, but all of them are quite hot-headed.
“I can't imagine them speaking calmly about it – I think it'd be a bit of an argument."
EastEnders continues Monday at 8pm on BBC One.
