Wellness Specialist Ketut Armana Adiana To Reinvigorate Guests’ Experiences at Radisson Blu Bali Uluwatu
Armana’s attentive nature sets the tone for SpaESC – a retreat of rare quality. To him, designing a different and more dimensional experience than the classic spa offering in Bali gives an edge, this includes the services of barbers, hair stylists, beauticians and makeup artists alongside highly skilled spa therapists.
Collaborating with world-class spa consultancy A.W.LAKE Design has realized stunning architecture and interior styling complemented with perfectly-judged facilities. And, by positioning the SpaESC at the very center of the resort, he has made it accessible and inviting to first-timers and seasoned spa goers.
Armana’s expertise in spa service and culture started in Bali from 2002. Since then, he has curated incredible spa brands and trained award-winning spa teams acrossvarious countries including; Goa, Porto Montenegro, and Taipei. He joins the team at Radisson Blu Bali Uluwatu, with the vision to reinvigorate guests in Bali and to showcase the best of what he has experienced in his work around the world.
“My guiding goal is to make this resort the number one spa destination in Uluwatu. I want guests to feel the difference of SpaESC by engaging in their treatments. For example, our body scrub using natural fresh ingredients is an engagement between therapist and guest. The choice could be tomato, banana, brown sugar, raw honey and fresh mint leaves – it will be blended based on the texture and aroma the guest desires. We will also make enough for them to take the blend away, as they recreate the experience themselves.” says Armana.
Beyond SpaESC, Armana also supervises the relaxation area, boutique, gym, kid’s club and a host of activities inspired by Radisson Blu Bali Uluwatu’s stunning location.
Armana studied Tour & Travel at the Politeknik Negeri Bali, with a major in Tourism. One of the enduring aims of his career has been to engage male guests and non-spa users in the benefits of holistic wellness therapies.
