Speculation tax leading to negative speculation in the Okanagan

It hasn’t even become official yet and already the BC government’s new speculation tax is being felt in the Okanagan. The tax is aimed at the ongoing housing affordability crisis by taxing homeowners from outside BC. But critics say it’s going to slow down growth predicting developers will stop building in the Okanagan’s two largest cities. Kelly Hayes reports.
