Six arrested in Madrid protest over migrant death

Spanish authorities arrested six people during a violent protest in over the death of a Senegalese street vendor, police said today, adding 10 officers were injured.

The clashes yesterday in Lavapies, a district in the centre of the Spanish capital with a large immigrant population, saw angry protesters set fire to dustbins and motorbikes, and throw stones at riot police.
