KATHMANDU: The Indian President Ram Nath Kovind has sent a letter of congratulations to President Bidya Devi Bhandari felicitating her on her election.

While extending his heartily congratulations to the new Head of State, Indian President Kovind expressed his confidence that Nepal will move forward on the path of prosperity and development under her guidance.

Similarly, he also expressed that he is looking forward to continue working with President Bhandari towards further strengthening wide-ranging bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

In the letter, he conveyed that India attaches highest priority to its close and multi-faceted partnership with Nepal.
