Telangana man among three terrorists killed in Kashmir's Anantnag encounter

On March 11, three terrorists were killed by security forces in an encounter. The three killed terrorists were found to be fighting of the so-called Islamic State in Kashmir. Out of the three, two were identified as Eesa Fazli from Srinagar's Soura and Syed Owais from south Kashmir's Kokernag.
The identity of the third terrorist was not known then.
Now, the third terrorist has been identified as Mohammad Taufiq from Telangana. The 26-year-old man was a native of Manugu of Bhadadri-Kothagudem district of Telangana.

The Ansar Ghaswat-UK-Hind, the Kashmir based Al-Qaida affliate led by former Hizbul Mujahideen commander and dreaded terrorist Zakir Musa, who later pleaded allegiance with Islamic State has owned Mohammad Taufiq and confirmed his killing on of 11/12 March at Hakoora of South Kashmir's Anantnag.
Kothagudem SP Ambar Kishore Jha, in an exclusive interview, told India Today, "Taufiq was radicalised through social media and later, he joined the terror organisation in Jammu and Kashmir."
Telangana Police is in touch with J&K Police to get hold the dead body of Taufiq and are searching for more information about him.
Mohammad Taufiq joined the terror front in 2017 and reached Kashmir. In Kashmir, he was as known as Sultan Zabul Al Hind and Abu Zarr Al Hindi.
