Pulaski Highway has reopened as state police continue to investigate a crash in Bear in which two victims, possibly children, were struck by a school bus, according to police scanners.
Two victims were taken to area hospitals, according to scanner reports. One victim was flown to Nemours/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children, while the other was taken to another hospital.
The incident, which involves a Christina School District bus, occurred about 8:20 a.m. A district official reached Thursday morning said she could not immediately comment as they were gathering details.
Eastbound Pulaski Highway (U.S. 40) and Salem Church Road were closed, but have now been reopened, according to state transportation officials.
