Jace (Dominic Sherwood) and Clary (Katherine McNamara) have had a rough go of it romantically, but it sounds like Shadowhunters Season 3 will see them happy together for the first time ever... at least for a while.
"This is the first time that the two of them have had a chance to really let their relationship grow and for them to love each other the way they've always wanted to," Katherine McNamara says. "So moving forward, yes you do see a few moments of light romance and a few times where they can actually behave as a couple without dealing with the world ending around them."
Unfortunately, nothing gold can stay in the Shadow World, which means trouble is on the horizon.
Jace and Clary are still hiding the fact that she made a wish from the angel from The Clave, and that's not the only secret festering between them. Jace will face some nasty consequences of dying and coming back to life that may put Clary in huge danger.
"It does put a damper on things because they feel the weight of this secret and they feel the responsibility, and Jace too is struggling with these hallucinations that he's having that are rather violent, if you will," McNamara says.
