Prayers for ailing CM, Vasco MLA

Vasco: The Mormugao taxi union on Thursday offered prayers before Lord Damodar for the speedy recovery of chief minister Manohar Parrikar and Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida.
Union president Parshuram Sonurlekar said, "People are concerned as their leaders are falling ill. The welfare of the state is at stake. We have prayed for all the political leaders of the state that they remain healthy. We want them to work for us.”

Many taximen and locals gathered at Damodar temple on Thursday for the prayers.
