Joseph A. Placidi, 56, of Aliquippa, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford, surrounded by his loving family. Born February 23, 1962, in Rochester, he was a son of the late Joseph Sr. and Sandra (Nutz) Placidi. Joe was a journeyman master plumber who operated his own business, J.A. Placidi Plumbing, for over 30 years. A 1980 graduate of Western Beaver High School, he was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church in Aliquippa, Midland Sportsman's Club and Monaca S.O.I. Surviving are his beloved wife of 33 years, Paula (Sonsini) Placidi; a son, Joseph Placidi III; a daughter and son-in-law, Jena and Charles Adams; three amazing grandchildren, Ethan, Ava and Austin; two sisters, Debra Slater and Cynthia Placidi; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gennaro and Maria Sonsini; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rocco and Domenica Sonsini; nieces and nephews, Gerry (Monika), Danny, Loraina, Dante, Michael, Christopher, Cassandra and Kenzie, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends will be received Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. at TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, www.tatalovichfuneralhome.com, where a service will be held Saturday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Titus Catholic Church, Aliquippa, with Father Paul Householder officiating. Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, Hopewell Twp. Joe was a generous and kindhearted man. His memory will live eternally in the hearts of all who loved him.
