Goods gutted in Aquem fire

Margao: A fire broke out in a building at Aquem Thursday morning causing damage to goods worth Rs 2.5 lakh.
Sources said that the incident occurred when the occupants of the flat owned by Annette Pereira, located in Vasant Vihar building, were away. Furniture, domestic appliances and electrical gadgets were gutted.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. tnn
