PITTSBURGH, March 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "I thought that there should be a less stressful way to learn how to cut and style hair that did not involve actually working on an actual person," said an inventor from Brownstown, Ind. "I came up with this idea so that people can practice and make mistakes."

She developed the SHAVE AWAY to enable students and others to practice cutting and styling hair. The unit eliminates the need to train these skills while working on a real person. It allows mistakes to be made without clients getting upset. This helps students become more confident in their technique and abilities. The accessory is easy to use. Additionally, it is producible in various styles, colors, textures, etc.

The original design was submitted to the Indianapolis office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
