more-in

The Congress continued its attack on the government with its leaders questioning the authenticity of the attack and sought the complete video footage from all cameras of the proceedings of the Governor’s speech.

Congress Legislature Party leader K. Jana Reddy and Leader of the Opposition in the Council Shabbir Ali wrote a letter to Speaker Madhusudhana Chary seeking the footage.

Reacting to criticism of him by the Chief Minister in the Assembly on Wednesday, Mr. Jana Reddy asked if he had not done anything for Telangana why did KCR come to his house during the separate statehood movement. He commented sarcastically whether KCR had brought IDPL, IDL, ECIL and other national and international institutes to Hyderabad.

He advised Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao to talk facts on Congress party’s achievements in the previous governments rather than abusing them. He reminded hims that people of UP defeated the BJP in Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s own constituency in the by-elections. He said the by-elections in Telangana were impossible. He also made it clear that there was no discussion in the party of the resignation of all the suspended members.

Mr. Revanth Reddy also said expelling the MLAs was unconstitutional after the electoral process of Rajya Sabha had began in the State. The conspiracy of the Government was clear here as they didn’t want the Congress MLAs to vote.
