Registration opens March 20 for Geauga Park District’s Summer Camps.
Adventures will include biking, kayaking, fishing, stream exploration and sending rockets high into the sky. Plus, in the new year, camp adventures expand to the new Claridon Woodlands, which will serve as a base camp for all campers’ biking day and the older campers’ high ropes challenge, according to a news release.
Geauga Park District’s sixth annual camps are offered for youth entering fifth through seventh grades in week-long forms the weeks of June 25, July 9, July 16, July 30 and Aug. 6. A Junior Naturalist Camp will also take place the week of June 11 for this age group.
Week-long experiences for teens entering grades eight through 10 will be the weeks of June 18 and July 23. Single-day X-Treme Adventures for the older kids will also be held July 2 and 5 (kayak challenge) and July 3 and 6 (high ropes challenge).
