Controversial Kelowna homeless shelter might remain open for another year

Some of Kelowna’s downtown business owners are expressing frustration that a temporary homeless shelter will remain open longer than originally planned. The Cornerstone shelter on Leon Avenue opened its doors at the end of November. Since then, many businesses have noticed a spike in property crime. And as Kelly Hayes reports, there’s even more concern about the possibility the shelter will remain open for an entire year.
