VADODARA: The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) continued its sealing drive in the city to recover pending taxes and sealed 531 premises on Wednesday.VMC officials said that the sealing drive resulted in recovery of 85.25lakh towards property tax. The civic body also recovered 34.25lakh towards professional tax ad Rs 6.74lakh towards vehicle tax. An amount of Rs 1.25lakh was also recovered for water charges. The total recovery amounted to Rs 1.27crore.
Officials said that with the recovery on Wednesday, the total amount recovered towards revenue reached Rs 417crore for the year 2017-18.
