Super-specialty hospital proposed at Yeshwantpur TTMC

The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has decided to provide 36,476 square feet of space at Yeshwantpur Traffic and Transit Management Center (TTMC) for establishment of a super-specialty hospital.

On Thursday, after inspecting the venue, Transport Minister H.M. Revanna said that the BMTC will join hands with the Health Department to open a 100-bed hospital.

In December, the BMTC and the Health Department had opened 'Indira Transit Clinics' at Majestic bus stop for the benefit of the general public and staff of the Corporation, and a decision was taken to build a hospital in available space at TTMCs.

There is also proposal to open transit clinics in major bus stands in the city.
