A public hearing on the three budgets Redding voters will be asked to vote on is set for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Community Center.

The town budget request is nearly $14.9 million, which is about 0.78 percent, or $115,000 more than the current budget.

The Redding Board of Education budget is $21.6 million, which is 4.34 percent, or $900,000 more than the current budget.

Region 9’s budget is $24.5 million which is a 3.02 percent increase and includes money for a school resource officer. This budget is divided proportionally between Easton and Redding based on the number of students enrolled at Joel Barlow High School.
