Center Street (state Route 615) in Mentor between Mentor Avenue (Route 20) and Johnnycake Ridge Road (state Route 84) has reopened after closing earlier because of a gas leak.
The Mentor Police Department announced the closure at 3:15 p.m. March 14, and said the street had reopened at 5:26 p.m.
Residents were advised to avoid the area.
