Khajuri police have arrested 24-year-old married woman involved in murder of her 25-year-old husband at Eitkhedi Chhaap on March 10; police have recovered sharp-edged weapon used in the murder.
During interrogation, the accused wife Neetu Mewada broke down and confessed to have killed her husband Neeraj Mewada, a class IV employee of Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal (IIFM) with a sharp-edged weapon at his residence.
SHO of Khajuri police station HS Pandey said that immense hatred developed in the relationship lead to the murder of Neeraj who had black spots like Leprosy and hide the fact before the marriage and which the main reason of the wife’s distraction from the deceased who also left the deceased 4-5 times but the parents managed to facilitate her return.
In the initial investigation police found that signs of struggles have been found as apart from slitting the throat, fingers have been injured and wife along with some other accomplice might have committed the crime but later in the investigation police found that the deceased was attacked multiple times by his wife and due to which he sustained multiple injuries.
In the initial investigation it was found that the relations between deceased and his wife got estranged soon after their marriage.
The police had registered a case of murder and later in the investigation wife of the deceased who was the prime suspect was detained and she confessed to have committed the crime.
