RENSSELAER -- City police say there were no signs of foul play in the death of Brianna Beebe, whose body was found in Hudson River Saturday morning.
Beebe, 26, had been reported missing by her boyfriend Friday to the Rensselaer Police Department. She'd last been seen Thursday. Her body was located in the river off the shoreline just south of the Rensselaer boat launch on Forbes Avenue.
Police issued this statement Wednesday afternoon:
"The investigation is completed at this time and it has been determined that there are no signs of foul play. Criminal charges are not expected in this case. Autopsy determined the cause of death to be drowning and hypothermia."
