BETHEL — The Social Services Department is collecting items for Easter baskets that will go to families in need.
Social Services has dispersed 900 eggs to 16 participating businesses. Residents can take an egg and purchase the item indicated on the egg. Items can then be left at the business to be given to Social Services.
The resident who selects the one winning egg will also get a basket of his or her own.
Eggs can be found at Alice’s Flower Shop, Belardinelli Tire Company, Biksbee’s, Byrd’s Books, Daily Fare, Domino’s Pizza, Famous Pizza, In-Style Salon, Jacqueline’s, La Zingara, Noteworthy Chocolates, Sycamore, The Athlete’s Source, Toy Room, UK Gourmet and Victoria’s Wood Fired Pizza.
