PITTSBURGH, March 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Piedmont, S.C., has developed the SNATCHER, a handheld vacuum that enables insects to be captured and released or possibly eradicated without creating a mess.
"I wanted to develop a way to catch insects without having to use harsh chemicals or squashing by hand or foot, which can aggravate the insect or leave a mess," said the inventor.
The SNATCHER prevents a person from touching insects when removing them from the environment. It eliminates having to use chemical sprays to eradicate insects. This will, in turn, minimize the likelihood of contracting a blood-borne illness due to an insect bite or sting. This vacuum will be useful to any homeowner, business owner, people who work outside or pest control worker.
The original design was submitted to the Columbia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
