Deputy Commissioner P I Srividya said that 530 polling booths have been earmarked in Kodagu for the assembly elections.
Speaking at a review meeting at the Deputy Commissioner's office on Wednesday, she directed the officials concerned to facilitate ramps for the physically challenged apart from drinking water, power supply, furniture and toilets within three days.
Ramps are needed in 42 booths, drinking water in 14 booths, power supply in 20 booths, furniture is necessary for 20 booths and toilet in 11 booths.
The election observers will inspect the facilities at all booths once the election date is announced.
She instructed officials to finish the work at Dubare polling booth within 15 days.
Physically challenged eligible voters who are yet to register their names in the voters' list must enrol themselves at the Booth Level Office or Tahsildar office. Addition to the voters' list is an ongoing process. Wheelchairs will be provided to the physically challenged, said the DC.
Additional deputy commissioner D M Satish Kumar, assistant commissioner Dr Nanjundegowda and tahsildar Kusuma were present among others.
