Palestine took part in ITB Berlin this year as well. Majed Ishaq of the State of Palestine Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities welcomed tourists to visit their beautiful country. He was also kind enough to provide a welcome note in Arabic.
Like last year, this year too Palestine exhibited in force at ITB Fair in Berlin. Organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Palestinian delegation this year included over a dozen companies and service providers from across Palestine.
Palestine’s touristic, historical, and holy places have always been a great attraction of the Holy Land. Culinary trails, beer and wine tasting as well as new walking routes and ideas for nature and active travel were showcased at the event. Security and the current political situation in the Middle East and its impact on the Palestinian tourism were also highlighted.
