The former cricketer of Indian Cricket Team, Vinod Kambli once again returned to the ground after a gap of 18 years, but this time not as a player but as the team’s mentor. The left-hander player had said goodbye to international cricket career in 2009, but he was not selected in the Indian team since October 2000.

Kambli has scored 1084 runs in 21 innings of India with an average of 54.20 in 17 test matches. At the same time, he scored 2477 runs in 97 innings of 104 ODIs at an average of 32.59.
