Lexus RC Gets New Black Line Special Edition for 2018
The Lexus RC coupe is now available in a new Black Line Special Edition version for the 2018 model year.
The Lexus RC Black Line Special Edition will make its official debut in New York later this month, but Lexus has dropped all the details ahead of time. It will be offered on all four RC models with the F Sport package, including the RC 300, RC 300 AWD, RC350 and RC350 AWD.
Setting RC Black Line Special Edition models apart are matte black wheels with orange or black brake calipers and black chrome grille and window trim. The cabin also gets orange contrasting stitching and a wood-trimmed steering wheel with, get this, “distinctive shades of black that were created by a Japanese calligraphy shop dedicated to perfecting ink for more than 200 years.” Now that’s attention to detail.

Just 650 examples of the RC F Sport Black Line will be built. It will be available in Caviar black or Atomic Silver, and will begin to arrive at North American Lexus dealers this spring.
