 The United States has condemned the recent chemical attack on a former Russian spy and his daughter in Britain as an outrage.
66 year old former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his 33 year old daughter Yulia, were found collapsed after being poisoned.
They remain in a serious condition along with a police officer, who came in contact with the same substance.
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said, the attack was reckless, indiscriminate and irresponsible.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said, the alliance was deeply concerned about the attack and was in contact with UK authorities about the matter.
Earlier, British Prime Minister Theresa May said it was highly likely that Russia was behind the poisoning.
She chaired a meeting of the National Security Council to assess the intelligence around the poisoning.
Russia has accused Britain of trying to undermine trust ahead of the Football World Cup to be held in Russia.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the allegations were part of an "information and political campaign based on provocation.
