Taking tough steps on the rise in black marketing of non-judicial stamp (NS) papers in Bokaro, Deputy Commissioner MK Baranawal directed to open 6 new e-stamp centres in Bokaro. Aiming to facilitate mass and to make the availability of all denominations of stamp papers license has been issued to 6 e-stamp centres in the city, said Baranwal.
The e-stamps will now be available at Stock Holding Corp. at City centre sector 4, Bank of Baroda Chas branch, Bank of Baroda Sector 4 branch, Canara Bank Chas, Canars Bank Naya More and BS City Head Post Office. “People can get the lowest value of Rs 1 to any high-value stamp papers at all centres,” he added.
One can make payment through their debit card, ATM card, cheques and net banking.
Admitting that the black marketing of NS papers was on rising in Bokaro, Baranawal said we are the move to make the stamp papers procuring process easy for the people.
Two days ago. at least 13 people including stamp vendors and deed writers were nabbed during the raid conducted by SDO Chas. All of them were found to involve in black marketing and illegally sale of non-judicial stamp papers, he said.
