Aamir Khan makes Instagram debut on birthday!

The actor who turns 53 today, has expanded his digital imprints by making his debut on Instagram. Aamir Khan, who has a huge following on Twitter and Facebook with social media reach of more than 37 million users, was absent from the popular picture sharing social networking platform.

The actor currently has a huge fan base, not only in India but also overseas with untapped markets like China, Turkey, Taiwan and Russia after the successful run of his recent films Dangal and Secret Superstar. 

“The actor would use Facebook as a medium to communicate through words with his fans. As he makes an appearance on a picture-sharing site, fans would receive visual treats from the actor’s life. Aamir will be having a working birthday this year, with his shooting schedule for his upcoming periodic drama Thugs of Hindostan underway in Jodhpur,” says a source close to the actor.
