Prosecutors To Seek Death Penalty For Parkland School Shooter Nikolas CruzThe Broward County State Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday that prosecutors will seek the death penalty against Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported. Some of the victims’ relatives said they do not want Cruz to be executed and would prefer if he spends the rest of his life in state prison with no hope of release.
