In Bihar, re-polling at 27 booths in Bhabhua Assembly constituency passed off peacefully.

53 percent voting was recorded. One Independent candidate was taken into police custody for disturbing polling process. By-poll on the seat was held on Sunday.

The Election Commission ordered re-polling at 27 booths as voting could not take place on the polling day due to non-functioning of VVPAT at these booths.

Meanwhile, counting will take place tomorrow for by-polls on Araria Lok Sabha seat, Jahanabad and Bhabhua assembly seats.
