India beat Sri Lanka by six wickets in their fourth Twenty20 match of Nidahas Trophy 2018 on Monday held at R. Premadasa Stadium.

India had clinched the toss and chose to bowl first against opponent team. As the rain affected the game, it was reduced to 19 overs.

In the third encounter, Sri Lankan team gave the goal of 152-9 runs to India in the Nidahas Trophy tri-series.

Sri Lankan team lost their first wicket of Danushka Gunathilaka in the starting of game whereas Captain Thisara Perera gets out at a score of 15.

Indian bowler Shardul Thakur clinched four wickets while Washington Sundar took two wickets.

Indian team lost their first wicket of Rohit Sharma very early followed by Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina.

KL Rahul was thrashed away by Sri Lankan bowler through hit-wicket.

Manish Pandey and Dinesh Karthik scored 42 runs and 39 runs respectively. Their great contribution helped the team to win the game.

India will now face off Bangladesh on 14 March 2018 while Sri Lanka will play against Bangladesh on Friday.
