SMC staff lodge plaint against cattle breeders

Surat: Police booked 15 cattle breeders in Chowk Bazaar police station on Monday for unlawful assembly and driving motorcycles behind cattle risking lives of others when a team of Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) went to catch stray cattle on Dawalsha Nagar of Ved Road.

Police booked Vishnu Rabari, Ankit Rabari, Rahul Jograna and 12 others. The accused drove their bikes behind the cattle and forced them to run obstructing the SMC team on Sunday. The complaint was lodged by Mahesh Chauhan, a sanitary inspector of SMC. tnn
