It was a stimulating Sunday with lots of interesting things happening for the young readers. Participants of British Council Library’s Reading Challenge: Animal Agents, and Book Review Workshop were in for loads of fun and joy. The sessions were followed by a concluding medal and certificate distribution.
The participants, aged 5 to 13 years, indulged in a series of creative activities including ‘Design posters/awareness charts for care and safety of animals’, ‘Make your own wackiest animal and describe it in detail’, ‘Develop your own story from the given clues or components of story mapping’ among others. The youngsters also had to draw their pet and even design a park with animals. The sessions were facilitated by edupreneur
Priti Shah. And the young ones really enjoyed the activities.
