Quiche in, camcorders out in UK's new inflation basket

(Reuters) - Quiche and women's exercise have been added to the basket of goods that Britain uses to calculate inflation, but camcorders are out, the country's statistics agency said on Tuesday.

The (ONS) updates its basket every year to reflect changing spending habits and consumers' experience of rising prices.

Action cameras and have also been included in the new basket.

Digital camcorders, however, have been dropped since serve the same function.
