SWANSEA — Joseph Case High School is pleased to host its ninth annual Arts Night on Friday, March 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. Sign in at the free student Art Show called The Luck of the Artist in the first floor high school hallways and library, and sway to the tunes of the music department ensembles. This is the same evening as the Case High Theatre Company’s home show, "The New Everyman." The performance begins at 8 p.m.; it is rush seating and tickets are $10.

The public exhibition of student art work will feature sculptures, paintings, drawings, photography, printmaking, mixed media and a special Monster Engine Project (high school and elementary artwork collaboration). All art students will have their favorite art pieces on display. The 2018 winner of the Art Show Poster Design Contest is a freshman, Jennie Lee.

Parent volunteers are urged to contact Mrs. Janet Blair or Mrs. Rebecca Hall in the Art Department at 508-675-7483. There will be a shamrock, maroon and gold socks, and tee shirt sale in the school lobby from 6-8 p.m. All donations to the Art Boosters’ College Scholarship Fund will be greatly appreciated.
