‘Technology, an inalienable part of human life’

Technology is inevitably intertwined with human life at every stage, remarked Shane Kazim Naqvi, director of Centre for Information Technology at Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad.

Delivering the keynote address on Monday at the inauguration of the two-day national seminar on ‘Recent Innovations in Computer Science and IT’, jointly being conducted by the computer science department of Telangana University and TS Higher Education Council here, Prof. Naqvi said the use of computers had crept into every aspect, from agriculture to space sciences.

He opined that in higher education, there is a need to frame a digital education action plan. Proper use of information technology could help save time and help achieve quality results in various projects, he said, adding that importance of information technology has increased in the fields of education and health.

Attending as the guest of honour, Tech Mahindra App head Murali said today’s youth should improve digital knowledge to be able to reap more opportunities in the job market.
