John Cena vs The Undertaker at WrestleMania 34? WWE Superstar Calls Out 'Deadman'

Looks like John Cena has a WrestleMania 34 match after all. The WWE Superstar cut a wicked promo during the March 12 edition of Monday Night RAW in which the 16-time champion called out The Undertaker.

Cena starts his promo saying he doesn’t have a “Road to WrestleMania” and when the crowd chants for the Taker, the WWE Superstar says that he hopes the people in the back heard that. He then goes into the crowd and says that his road to ‘Mania will be like the crowds and he will enjoy it in the audience.

Cena’s tone quickly shifts though, saying that he has nothing to lose and calls out The Undertaker. Check out the WWE’s tweet showing a clip of Cena’s promo on The Undertaker.

He says the only one who isn’t making this match happen is The Undertaker himself because of his ego. He lost to Roman in last year’s ‘Mania and the loss has hurt his ego. Cena sees the workout videos The Taker posts and knows he can still go and he will be waiting for his response. With WrestleMania 34 a few weeks away, there is time to build a feud between Cena and The Undertaker.

The Undertaker last wrestled at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando. He lost to Roman Reigns, his second career loss at WrestleMania after nearly two decades of going undefeated (he lost to Brock Lesnar in 2014). After roman Reigns pinned him, the Undertaker took in the crowd’s chants before leaving his iconic coat and hat in the middle of the ring before descending the ramp. He had not be seen in a WWE ring again, until tonight.

John Cena’s story over the past month has revolved around whether or not he will have a match at this year’s WrestleMania. After failing to win this year’s Royal Rumble in Philadelphia to become the number one contender for Brock Lesnar’s Universal Title, Cena then lost a title opportunity for AJ Styles’ WWE Championship at Fastlane this past Sunday.

After Rey Mysterio’s appearance at the Royal Rumble, rumors swirled whether he will be Cena’s opponent at WrestleMania 34.  However, an apparent bicep injury seems to have sidelined the wrestler from his prior wrestling dates including ‘Mania.
