Zee Studios International to take ‘Hindi Medium’ to China and Taiwan!

After Aamir Khan’s successful film Secret Superstar, China and Taiwan has become a favourite market for Indian filmmakers. Zee Studios International, the overseas distributor of Irrfan Khan’s hit film Hindi Medium will release the film in China and Taiwan. The  thought-provoking film received slingshot box office figures and phenomenal reviews across the globe.

Commenting on this development Vibha Chopra, head — Zee Studios International (Film Marketing, Distribution and Acquisition) said, “China’s theatrical market is huge and growing rapidly. Seeing that Hindi Medium has performed well in each and every major international territory, is a testament for its potential in China and Taiwan as well. They appreciate good content. With Hindi Medium, we hope to offer them another spectacular movie experience.”

Directed by Saket Chaudhary, Hindi Medium is a slice of life comedy that highlights the subject of how language divides our society. Set in the backdrop of contemporary India, the film stars the versatile Irrfan and Saba Qamar, who do everything in their power to ensure their daughter receives the best education.
